With all due respect, and to the extent it even matters to you, I DID NOT refer to or call all Carson residents or Senior Citizens liars as Ms. Boggs erroneously claimed at the city council meeting last night. And for you now to applaud someone without checking or inquiring about the facts is a disservice to your readers and undermines your cause.

Councilman Albert Robles could NOT tell the truth even if someone held a gun to his head. Back in June of 2013, just last year, the Carson City Council had on it’s agenda an “Employee Evaluation” of City Manager City of Carson and when the City Council came out of “Closed Session”, Mr. Biggs was no longer employed by the City of Carson. So please tell us Mr. Robles, why should anyone believe YOU or any-other City Council-person when YOU say it is “just an employee evaluation”?

The H.A.T. flyer told the truth as it has been known for some time that Councilman Mike Gibson and Councilman Santarina have been wanting to hire their personal friends to be Carson’s City Attorney. Neither Gipson nor Santarina have ever really supported Carson’s Mobile-Home Parks so they could care less if the Carson Rent Control Ordinance is protected or not.

It was revealed in the Sacramento Bee Newspaper BEFORE Carson residents regrettably elected Albert Robles to our City Council, that Albert Robles had very serious issues with the IRS & the California State Franchise Tax Board along with issues with major credit card companies who were after him for
payments. An investigation of where Albert Robles REALLY lives is currently underway and could end-up with his removal from the Carson City Council. When Albert Robles was elected to Carson’s City Council the then Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley said in the Los Angeles Times Newspaper, “Poor Carson” as District Attorney Steve Cooley had previous knowledge of Albert Robles’s conduct that caught the eye of those who were and are concerned with “Good Government”.

Carson Mayor Jim Dear now finds himself in a quandry as he workd so hard to rid the Carson City Council of Council-woman Julie Ruez-Raber so that he, Jim Dear, could regain his majority vote on the City Council, however, when Jim Dear solicited Albert Robles to push out Julie Raber, and now that Robles has Julie Raber’s council seat, Mayor Jim Dear has backed himself into a corner as Albert Robles only has to threaten Mayor Dear with taking his vote to the other side of the City Council if Jim Dear does not support his, Albert Robles, issues that he, Albert Robles, wants the City Council to vote on. It now appears that Mayor Jim Dear no longer has complete control over the Carson City Council as he thought that he had.

Corruption in the Carson City Government is going on right in the faces of Carson’s residents yet our residents are not looking. But, that in of itself is another story that will be told again soon.

Fantastic reporting Mr. Brooks. Tonight 7/14/15 South Gate will be endorsing the Carson Stadium. You just know after all the trouble our City had with Big Al and Little Al that we must have someone on Council Now who has higher aspirations no matter what the cost. Thanks for your input. Virginia from South Gate
